The AKASO Dash Cam FHD 1080P with full HD 1920 x 1080P video @ 30 FPS, uses WDR to provide good clear images able to show license plate details.

It has a 3” viewing screen which is fine for fixing the camera position and checking a shot before taking a still picture which is also of good quality.

Garmin Dash Cam 35

Main Features:

The forward collision warning will sound if you are driving too close to the vehicle in front.  Its incident detection technology will automatically record in the case of a collision.

This dash cam will record roughly an hour of footage at a time on the 4GB micro card supplied.

This dash cam can be used for taking still pictures from inside or outside of the car to record accident damage.

Toguard Mini Dash Cam

Toguard is well known and a big seller in USA and UK.  They sell a range of both dash and reversing cameras.

The Toguard Mini contains a G Sensor to ensure that footage immediately prior to an impact or a sudden stop will be safeguarded. It also records a time setting.

This dash offers 720 and 1080p resolution and is a very good budget option.

Old Shark Dash Cam

Old Shark regularly receives excellent customer reviews. This mid budget model includes all the essentials plus a Parking Monitor and will resist high and low temperatures on your windshield.

There is a 32GB Micro card already installed and a card Reader, so you won’t need to buy them.

Old Shark even includes cable clips to hold the USB lead en route to the cigarette lighter.  It works with power supplies between 12 and 24 volts, so can be used in cars or trucks.

Yi Compact

The YI Compact Dash Cam is a good budget dash camera.

The Yi Compact includes WIFI which saves removing the camera from its mount or the micro card from the camera.

It uses up to 32GB cards which you have to supply.

This is a good budget camera.
